Shaurya is an academic and a healthcare tech entrepreneur, pursuing a master’s degree in biomedical engineering. He develops healthcare technologies in collaboration with surgeons and scientists at various research hospitals in Toronto, Canada.

Shaurya has a wide range of experiences in the biomedical industry including medical device development, tissue engineering, strategy development (Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Ontario) and starting a medical communications company (Next 36, 2017). He holds a BASc in Engineering Science (University of Toronto), and is a competitive sailor (Royal Canadian Yacht Club).
