Raghavender is the Co-founder and CEO of NuPort Robotics, Canada’s first autonomous trucking company focused on middle mile automation for company supply chain operations. NuPort’s mission is to automate company supply chains, increase sustainability & reduce operational costs for clients.
Raghavender has over 8 years of expertise in the fields of Applied AI & Robotics and is one of Canada’s leading AI entrepreneurs. He obtained his Masters in Computer Vision based Robotics from York University (2018) with his research on person following robots receiving multiple best paper awards & media attention. He has worked as Senior Computer Vision engineer at Huawei (2018), AI Scientist in Residence for 2018 Next AI cohort, Robotics Software developer for Google Summer of Code in 2017 and 2018 and in University of Toronto.
