Kyle Winters is a well respected leader in the Canadian not for profit sector. As Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of Toronto, he oversaw the orchestration of the University's fundraising and partnership activities. Several of the university's largest corporate contributions were received during his tenure. After his 25 year career at UofT, Kyle assumed the role of National Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. While there, he led a coast to coast team of corporate fundraisers, and created a unified system of donor cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. During this time the Heart and Stroke Foundation was able to secure the largest corporate donation in the foundation's history. Most recently, Kyle was President of the Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research. During his time at CANFAR, the foundation received the largest sponsorship, and individual donation in the organization's history, and was also recognized for hosting the top high-profile fundraising event in Canada.
Kyle is a graduate of the Omnium Global MBA at the Rotman School of Management, at the University of Toronto. He has also obtained an EMBA certificate program at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and well as Executive Education Certificates from Harvard University in Leadership and Strategic Negotiations.
