Bio

Leah is a 2016 Next 36 alumnus and is currently the Co-founder of Canduit, a virtual work-integrated learning platform for higher ed students. Canduit has been part of many global accelerators, including 757 Accelerate, Start-Up Chile, TechDiversity Accelerator with Tampa Bay Wave, Acumen CivicX Accelerator, Seedstars, and UTEC Ventures (Lima, Peru). Leah graduated in business from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and, during her time at NEXT, served as COO of AccessNow. Leah is passionate about social entrepreneurship, particularly how technology can improve outcomes for marginalized groups (education, climate change, poverty). Leah has represented Canada internationally at the UN, Y20, and World Economic Forum and has been recognized as one of the Top 30 Under 30 Sustainability Leaders in Canada by Corporate Knights. You can talk to Leah about entrepreneurship in the US vs Canada, raising equity-free funding, building a team, and creating ventures around social causes.
