Kelly is a PhD student studying quantum machine learning and climate change at the University of Waterloo. She is the co-founder of Lair, an AI and quantum computing research lab helping startups leverage cutting-edge tech to make products that are beneficial for humanity and open-source tools so that more researchers can help. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys serving on various non-profit boards, paddling, and birdwatching.
