Bio

Chipewyan “Chip” McCrimmon is a Next 36 alumnus from the 2020 cohort, where he co-founded Falc0n-X, which helps local landfills reduce their pollution by providing an add-on technology that helps capture, separate, and purify their greenhouse gas emissions. Although Chip holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Brock University and a Master’s degree in Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University – his real education came from hunting, fishing, and trapping in the bush of Northern Saskatchewan. Chip is a Treaty 8 band member of Deninu K’ue First Nation in the Northwest Territories.
