Bio

Ann-Frances Cameron is an Associate Professor of Information Technologies at HEC Montréal, where she also holds the Professorship in Information Technology and Multitasking. She has 10 years of experience teaching MBA students at HEC Montréal on topics such as management of digital technology, project management, and agile software development. She is also responsible for supervising the MBA student group who organize the HEC Corporate Responsibility Challenge– a case competition which attracts over 20 MBA teams world-wide. Ann-Frances also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and has helped over 35 students study for and obtain this credential. She additionally has been a visiting scholar and adjunct assistant professor at the Smith School of Business at Queens University.

Since 2012, Ann-Frances has been the director of the Research Group in Information Systems (GReSI), which brings together 25 researchers from Quebec institutions including HEC Montréal, McGill, Concordia, Université du Québec à Montréal, and TELUQ. Her main research interests include the use and impact of new technologies for inter- and intra-organizational communication, including how these technologies influence individual task performance, team communication norms, and inter-organizational partnerships.
