Angela is an investor at Version One Ventures, an early-stage fund investing in companies that leverage network effects built through connect people and/or data at scale. Angela is based in San Francisco, where prior to joining Version One she co-launched Insight Data science, a YC-backed startup designed to help PhDs transition from academic research to career in industry via a six-week training program. She is an alumna of the University of Toronto, holding a BASc in Engineering Science, and a Masters and PhD in Operations Research and Financial Engineering.
