Alex joined NEXT Canada in May 2021 as interim Director of Finance and Operations. He joins NEXT Canada on a six-month secondment from EY Canada, a supporter of NEXT Canada’s mission through EY Ripples, the firm’s corporate social responsibility platform.

Alex earned his CPA, CA through EY and serves a variety of clients in the renewable energy, utilities, oil and gas, and not-for-profit sectors. Alex also holds a BComm from Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, where he was an active ambassador for the Centre for Social Impact, an academic community focused on driving impact through entrepreneurship.
