Jason is a tech entrepreneur that has experience with both starting a business and building machine learning technology. He is currently the CEO of Blue Lion Labs, a company using deep learning to detect harmful organisms in water. Blue Lion Labs was founded during Jason’s PhD in Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo. During his PhD he was awarded second place in the Enactus Canada Student Entrepreneur National Competition.
