Naomi comes to NEXT as an experienced fundraiser, having worked in Donor Stewardship and Cultivation at North America’s largest Documentary Film Festival. A proud Maritimer from Halifax, Nova Scotia, she began her career in banking before transitioning to not-for-profit after volunteering in Corporate Fundraising at the Etobicoke Humane Society. She has a Bachelor of Commerce with a Major in Marketing from the University of Guelph and completed the Foundation Year Program at King’s College in Halifax. Naomi believes in the power of storytelling to engage and inspire people to have a positive impact on the world around them.

Naomi is an avid reader of pretty much everything, usually from the Library.  She enjoys trying new restaurants, exploring her neighbourhood in Toronto and of course, a good lobster supper.
