Henri-Charles Machalani was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. During his teenage years, his passion for video games drove him to build two websites that attracted over 6,000 daily gamers and helped pay for his college-life expenses. He studied Honours Software Engineering at McGill University. Frustrated with the note-taking experience in his classes, he used his research project to build an Ed-Tech note-taking platform, which he later sold. Upon graduation, Henri-Charles joined Microsoft in Seattle where he led a team to design and develop the user experience for Windows 10 - including the revival of the Start menu. Itching to return to the entrepreneurial world, he moved back to Montreal and started Mistplay in 2016. On his free time, Henri-Charles enjoys gaming, binge watching Netflix, travelling and contributing to his local startup community by organizing events and connecting people.
