Following his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Pholysa began his career a decade ago in aerospace at Pratt and Whitney, which then opened his career as a business management and technology consultant. During his consultancy work, he instated high-tech infrastructure and developed heuristic and optimisation algorithms to guide decision-making in diverse industries. When tasked with setting up a Cloud ERP system for a client, he saw first-hand an opportunity to merge cloud computing with artificial intelligence (AI) technologies as a means to optimize business practices. His observations motivated him to become an entrepreneur, where he is now the founder of the tech startup, ENKIDOO. Pholysa currently oversees his team of 6 employees as the Chief Executive Officer and head of technology implementation. Targeting the needs of small & medium businesses, the AI technology developed at ENKIDOO includes an unique natural language processing parser that has the capability to integrate with dynamic business applications (ERP, CRM and e-Commerce).
As an active member in philanthropy, Pholysa currently occupies leadership positions within the executive committee for the Young Philanthropists’ Circle of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and oversees youth and LGBTQ issues with the Carrefour Jeunesse Emploi Montréal-Centre-Ville and GRIS-Montréal. This June 2017, he is selected to co-chair the Ontario North study group for the Governor General's Canadian Leadership Conference.
