Michael received a B.A.Sc. degree in Engineering Science and Ph.D. degree in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Toronto. He has published 104 peer reviewed publications, 8 patents and 2 book chapters. He is a Visiting Scientist at the Xerox Research Centre of Canada and is a Governor General Gold Medal winner, Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar, and Chorafas Prize winner. Michael is currently Co-founder and President of OTI Lumionics Inc., an advanced materials start-up company working on low cost manufacturing solutions for organic LED (OLED) lighting and displays.
