Aman Iqbal

Aman finished his PhD in Chemistry from University of Oxford at a young age of 24 years. Aman brings with him diverse work and leadership experience, having worked in international academic labs, a biotechnology company and a not-for-profit research institute. Aman has published multiple first author papers in leading international peer-reviewed journals. He has been a consultant to two startup biotech companies. In the past Aman formed and led an international research team, comprising of academics and industry partners, to coordinate efforts to tackle some of the most challenging problems in modern day biology. Aman completed certified courses in ‘building a science based business’ from Said Business School, University of Oxford and Entrepreneurship 101 at MaRS, Toronto. Aman is very passionate about using his deep scientific knowledge and his sharp business acumen to solve some of the most challenging healthcare problems in the world. Besides science and research, Aman’s other passions include composing world fusion music. He composed the background score for a British documentary film which is being screened at film festivals around the globe.
