Joshua Segeren

Joshua Segeren is a recent graduate of Mechatronics Engineering & Management, and Hatch Scholar at McMaster University. His passions include social engagement, emerging technologies, and musical improvisation, with interests ranging from big data, to behavioral finance and precision agriculture. Joshua founded and led the first club at McMaster dedicated to mobile innovation and application development, and for the past three years, has led the McMaster United Way club in generating significant contributions to its annual campaign. Professionally, Joshua has a strong technical background in both industry and academia, most notably with software development experience at Amazon.com and an ACM CIKM publication for research work in data quality management.
