Jeremy Tupper

Jeremy is best described as a “curious and charismatic programmer” who is constantly learning and looking for new opportunities. While studying biochemistry at Western, Jeremy started making a side income with SEO and Internet marketing. This side business sparked an interest in computers and technology, which led him to finish a Bachelor of Computer Science at Dalhousie University, with a specialization in communication technologies and cyber security. While in school, he was actively involved in many campus clubs and teams, including Best Buddies, Dal Rugby, Dal Dance and the Dal SummerUp Accelerator. He also taught or mentored at several programming classes for Ladies Learning Code and Dal CS Free School. He has won numerous awards, including 5 awards in the Apps for Halifax contest, 2nd place in the Dalhousie App Challenge, People’s Choice Award at Halifax Startup Weekend, and 1st place in the 2015 Canadian Business Model Competition. A very active guy, Jeremy’s grit and competitive nature was developed through a lifetime of playing high level competitive sports, such as football, soccer and rugby, while also pushing himself to the limit with sports such as snowboarding, wakeboarding and surfing.
