Aishi Jiang is a fourth year Biology student at the University of Western Ontario. She enjoys getting involved on campus, from coordinating the peer mentoring program at the UWO Student Development Center to organizing HackWestern. Aishi has a deep interest in medical research, and has spent past summers working with induced pluripotent stem cells and cell models of Alzheimer’s Disease. Her passion for healthcare has led her to build a startup to tackle the problem of hospital acquired infections. As an organizer of the Canadian Biology Olympiad, she hopes to expose high school students to science and spread the love of biology. Aishi likes to play guitar and sing in her free time.
