Drew Gross is a leader, a technologist, and visionary. He grew up in Saskatchewan and BC, and became enamoured with leadership and entrepreneurship at the Shad Valley program at Waterloo, where he was the head of prototype development for his RBC Shad Cup team. He went on to create a FIRST Technical Challenge team at his school, and lead the team to a second place finish at the Idaho State Championship. After his graduation, the team continued to excel and placed 37th in the World Championship in the next year. More recently, Drew founded a startup that won the VeloCity Venture Fund, earned two internships at Apple, and participated in Global Startup Youth in Malaysia. Drew graduated from the 2014 class of Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
