Alyssa Atkins

Commerce, University of Windsor, 2013

Alyssa Atkins graduated with distinction with Bachelor of Commerce and minor in Philosophy.

As a former Odette Debate Team member, Alyssa was the first member to ever place at a tournament when she won the fourth place Best Speaker Award at the Stanford Annual Debate Tournament.

She also ran her own window cleaning business for three years, and won countless awards to highlight her exceptional performance, before she became the Vice-President for her student government.

Alyssa has spent time travelling the world while on exchange in Jönköping, Sweden, and also travelled to the impoverished community of Khayelitsha, South Africa to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses and teach high school students what it takes to start a business.

Alyssa was the Vice-President of the Golden Key chapter at the University of Windsor, a society that invites only the top 15% of their class in, and is in the top 5% of her class in the Odette School of Business.

More than anything, Alyssa is passionate about women in business as she leads the Women In Leadership group as President and works to break down the barriers that female professionals and entrepreneurs still face.
