Ke Li is a second-year student at the University of Toronto, specialising in Finance and Computer Science. He has been recognized as a University of Toronto Scholar and received a GPA of 4.0. Ke graduated from high school with the highest academic standing and received provincial and national awards in accounting, marketing, computer science and mathematics. In Grade 10, he represented Ontario in DECA’s international competition in the e-commerce business plan event. In his first year in university, Ke joined IBM to work in its software division during the summer. He also volunteered at the Ontario Cancer Biomarker Network to develop a mobile solution enabling remote monitoring of equipment from employees’ BlackBerrys. In the near future, Ke plans to launch a software company specializing in web technologies and is currently in the process of applying for a patent for an upcoming product.
