David started his career in technology as a hobbyist, playing with web technologies, networking and troubleshooting issues with friends. In 1998, David began working professionally, supporting a non-profit administrative management system and building microsites and services for Nestle Global. In 2005, he worked as a freelance consultant providing IT support, web development, and ERP system integration services. David joined Innosphere as a consultant in 2009 to build an integration test suite for one of its clients. He took on the role of chief architect and lead developer on a microsite web-hosting platform which was scaled up to millions of monthly active visitors. He led the development and technology strategic direction for a daily deals website (stealthedeal.com) and became the lead developer and architect for several iOS and Android mobile applications for various Innosphere clients. In July 2016, David joined forces with Noel Webb, focusing their attention on a new project for Innosphere and together, they founded Karen. Once again, as chief architect and lead developer, David has taken lengthy discussions about the challenges of recruitment and distilled this into a multifaceted solution: Karen
