Shreyansh Anand is a fourth-year Biomedical Computingstudent at Queen’s University. He is an avid volunteer and community member who loves to work with others to better society. He has won the Ontario Service Award for his work at the local hospital, served as the Queen’s School of Computing Vice-President and student representative on the School’s Vision Community. When he was young, he saw firsthand some of the problems that are present in the Canadian health system and envisioned a better healthcare experience for everyone. He continued his journey by founding WaiveTheWait. Shrey wants to see a future where technology is leveraged to make healthcare more patient-focused and transparent with an emphasis on what provides people peace of mind.
